How many billable days are required to complete any given research assignment?
There is absolutely no way to answer this question. Prior to conducting a preliminary research effort on the assignment, we have no way of knowing how many heirs might be involved for any given assignment.
Our clients understand that an assignment involving a vesting document from 1903, in which eight surviving children are indicated as heirs, will require research that will understandably be far more complex and costly than an assignment involving the heirs of an individual who died in 1973 with two known surviving children.

What is the difference between "billable" days and "calendar" days?
Billable days apply each day Monday through Saturday in which our research staff works on behalf of our clients.
Calendar days are non-billable days which are necessary while awaiting the arrival of requested probate documents.
We emphasize to all Comprehensive service-level clients that our services typically require a far greater number of calendar days than the actual total billable research days.
