Under NO circumstances does Identifax require payment in advance.
Identifax Research Services currently invoices clients at the rate of $300.00 per eight-hour day, billable in two-hour segments. Invoices are submitted twice monthly via email, and are due and payable within 30 days.
With prior approval by the client, Identifax billing may also include necessary and reasonable expenses associated with our research, such as IRS-approved mileage charges (where applicable), document acquisition costs and copy fees. These expenses are typically less than 5% of the total billing, and rarely exceed 10%.
Clients should be aware that the number of calendar days required to complete an assignment may substantially exceed the total number of billable days, particularly in cases of probate document acquisition.
Identifax Research Services is pleased to offer a Reduced Day Rate option for clients who are being billed for multiple, concurrent assignments. Two or three concurrent assignments will be billed at the reduced rate of $280.00 per day per assignment. Four or more concurrent assignments will be billed at the reduced rate of $260.00 per day per assignment.
